FAWNA Privacy Statement
FAWNA collects some personal information from its members and donors. This information does not and will not be sold, rented or shared without specific consent. This information is only used for FAWNA’s operational, governance and administration purposes. Please advise the membership secretary if you would like your address withheld. Your email address and contact phone are essential for active rescue and caring roles and FAWNA membership roles.
FAWNA may pass on some of your personal information to NSW National Parks & Wildlife Service as required for licence arrangements. NPWS states that it collects personally identifiable information, such as your e-mail address, name, home or work address and telephone number. This information is provided to NPWS as a condition of the Licence to Rehabilitate Injured, Sick and Orphaned Protected Animals (Biodiversity Conservation Act 2016). Your personal information is solely used for the purposes of administering the Rehabilitation of Protected Native Animals Policy. You have the right to access and correct any of your personal information once NPWS has collected it, at any time.
